Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars vied to play the Jackal in the 1973 film, but the role went to a then-unknown Edward Fox because director Fred Zinnemann thought he could blend in unseen in a crowd. (Air Mail).
Okay, so I love the show, yes I can spot the mistakes etc, but I’m just watching and enjoying the show so far
A major disappointment is Lashana who plays the female lead, she is a decent enough actress but the role just doesn’t suit her, apparently she is a weapons expert but without spoiling the plot, you have to shoot over 200 rounds at someone and well let’s just say if she was on a grassy knoll we wouldn’t be talking about JFK’s fate today, there are plenty of people better suited for the role but unfortunately the casting people made a mistake, and that’s what we have to live with. I’m only 6 episodes in and waiting for the next one to come out, if the show continues as it is it will be a success regardless of Lashana.
